The Bont Suede Prostar Roller Skate Boot is a boot designed to be light, responsive, and heat moldable. A boot designed for you.

Heat Moldable Fit
Bont boots are the most heat-moldable boots on the market. Our proprietary resin is extremely stiff for performance, yet becomes pliable at low temperatures, allowing the boot to be shaped safely and easily.
Unlike many skates that can only be molded in small areas, Bont boots are moldable across the entire base. This gives skaters the ability to fine-tune the fit of the whole boot for a truly customized feel and a more anatomically accurate shape.

You can always buy Bont Skates with confidence. Skaters have trusted Bont since 1975, and we are the world’s largest manufacturer of inline speed skates, short track speed skates and custom boots, as well as one of the leading manufacturers of roller derby skates.
We take pride in looking after our customers and producing gear to the highest standards. Every boot goes through 16 independent stages of quality control before it leaves our factory.
Our inline wheels, roller skate wheels and frames are tested for strength and fatigue using advanced computer-aided stress testing. Bont bearings are developed in partnership with some of the best specialty bearing manufacturers in the world.
All Bont products also go through rigorous team testing before they reach the market, with feedback from some of the world’s top skaters.

Footbed Design

Boot Last Design
A last is the foot-shaped mold that a boot is built around. The accuracy of the last determines how well a skate fits.
Bont has been refining our lasts since 1975, and we continue to improve them to ensure our boots fit comfortably straight out of the box. Unlike many brands that rely on generic lasts, we develop and update our own designs to achieve a precise, performance-focused fit.

Lightweight Design
Bont boots are built to be lighter and stronger than traditional skate boots. We achieve this by hand-building each boot from the inside out, laying carbon or fiberglass directly around the last. This method takes significantly more time than conventional construction, but it creates a lighter, more responsive boot without sacrificing strength.
Manufacturing Process
Bont is one of the few skate brands that still handcrafts boots using an inside-out manufacturing method. This approach is far more skill-intensive and time-consuming than mainstream production, but it allows us to create boots with the performance, strength and responsiveness skaters expect. While it increases production costs, it delivers a lighter and more precise final product.
We continually refine our processes to maintain the highest quality. For example, traditional vacuum curing for carbon has been replaced with pressure wrapping, which applies four atmospheres of pressure instead of one. This produces a more consistent and durable carbon layup.
Inze Bont’s engineering innovations have helped optimize our production line so we can build handmade monocoque boots efficiently without compromising craftsmanship.
Our manufacturing methods reflect our performance philosophy: lighter, stronger and faster.

Anatomical Heel Cup
The anatomical heel cup in Bont quad roller skate boots is designed to improve stability and help you generate more power with each push. It supports the heel naturally, without relying on tight straps or laces, which means better comfort and circulation.
The heel cup is also fully heat moldable, allowing you to fine-tune the fit for your foot.

Anatomical Forefoot Shape
Many traditional quad roller skate boots use a narrow, dress-shoe style shape. While it may look sleek, it can squeeze the toes and metatarsals too tightly. This pressure can irritate the nerves between the bones, which often leads to the familiar “hot foot” sensation.
Bont’s anatomical forefoot shape is designed to let the foot sit and function in a more natural position. This reduces compression and improves comfort and efficiency. Combined with our heat moldable construction, you can fine-tune the boot to match your individual foot shape.
