The Bont Flow roller skate wheel series is purpose-built for park and aggressive street roller skating. Designed to handle high speeds, hard landings, and technical tricks, Flow wheels deliver reliable performance in bowls, halfpipes, vert ramps, skate parks, and street-style setups.
Flow wheels are available in two carefully developed hardness options, allowing skaters to choose the ride feel that best matches their terrain and skating style.
The 99a Park Flow is designed for park and vert skating where speed, precision, and control are critical. The harder urethane compound rolls fast, maintains stability at high speeds, and responds quickly through transitions and tight turns. It is ideal for smooth concrete bowls, ramps, and park surfaces where consistency and predictability matter.
The 89a Street Flow is tuned for aggressive street-style roller skating and rougher skate park surfaces. The slightly softer urethane helps smooth out uneven concrete, absorbs impact on hard landings, and provides a more forgiving ride without sacrificing responsiveness. It is well suited to ledges, rails, coping, and DIY spots where surface quality can vary.
Both versions feature a specially designed wheel edge profile that helps reduce wheel bite on coping, rails, and ledges. This edge shape allows cleaner slides and grinds while maintaining control when rolling back in, giving skaters confidence whether locking in or releasing.
With a 58mm diameter and 32mm width, the Flow wheel strikes an ideal balance for park roller skating. The size provides strong roll speed and stability while keeping the setup agile and responsive for transitions, airs, and technical tricks.
Flow wheels use standard 608 bearings, the same bearing size used across Bont PRO, Black Series and Ceramic bearings. No mini bearings are required, making bearing swaps simple and ensuring compatibility with high-quality bearing options.
Bont’s long history of producing high-performance inline speed skating and roller derby wheels is built into the Flow series. That engineering experience has been applied specifically to the demands of park and aggressive street roller skating, resulting in a wheel designed for consistency, durability, and control.
Important note:
The Street Flow (89a) is not an outdoor road cruising wheel. While it performs well in open skate parks, bowls, halfpipes, and street-style skate spots, it is not intended to replace a true outdoor wheel. For rough roads and long-distance outdoor skating, a softer 78a to 85a wheel will provide a smoother ride.
